Do I have to create and account for a once off civil application? 
   

Yes, you must create an account and become a registered user if you wish to make a civil application

Can I choose my own username and password?    

Yes, you can.  you must use a valid e-mail address for your username.

Is the username and password case-sensitive?    

Yes.

Can I create my civil application as soon as I have registerd my account?    

Yes, you can proceed to create a civil application as soon as you have registered your account.

What if I forget my username?    

It is best practise to use your e-mail address as your username, to reduce the chance of forgetting it.

What if I forget my password?    

Your password can be reset by entering your username and clicking on the ‘Reset Password’ button. 

An e-mail will be sent to you which will include a link which you should click on in order to change your password.

How do I manage and change my account details?    

You can change your account details at any time. Log-in to your account and in the 'My Account' button on the left hand side and change your details.

What happens if I've lost access to the e-mail address registered to my account?    

You should edit your account details.  Log-in to your account and in the 'My Account' button on the left hand side and change your details.

What should I do if I think someone has discovered my account details and accessing my account?    

You should edit your account details.  Log-in to your account and in the 'My Account' button on the left hand side and change your details.

Can I delete my account?      

Not at this time.

How long is my account available for viewing after my case is completed?     

Indefinitely

Who can I contact if I have a query about My Account?
